Refo — project preview

01   brief

The context.

Refo is a young leather accessories brand: card holders and braided bracelets, an "Essentials Only" philosophy. A few pieces, well made, launched in drops. They needed an e-commerce that made the product feel as premium as the leather it sells — and could carry the launch of the first collection.

02   challenge

The challenges.

Selling "a few essentials" in a market full of accessories: the site had to convey craftsmanship and desirability without shouting. Running a drop-based catalogue — sold out, "coming soon" for tees and swimwear — with a smooth checkout and product pages that make you want to touch the leather.

03   solution

The answer.

Custom e-commerce, dark and minimal: a full-screen hero on the braided leather, an essential product grid, the leather's own colours as the only decoration and a "mix & match" bundle. Drop logic with sold out and coming soon states, built on Node · Express and Google Cloud.

No generic template: serif typography, photography and page rhythm are designed to make the brand feel like a small everyday luxury.
