01 brief
A historical event with 600 years of tradition, three rival terzieri, and no digital way to manage the calendar, materials, mailing or visibility. The Pro Loco relied on an old site with a CMS nobody knew how to use.
02 challenge
Three different editorial teams (one per terziere) that need to publish content without stepping on each other. An event calendar that changes on the fly. Heavy images that tanked mobile performance. SEO to rebuild from scratch to catch seasonal tourist searches. Limited budget, tight timeline (three months).
03 solution
Static site on Cloudflare Pages with a custom admin *per terziere*: each team has its own credentials and publishes only in its own spaces. D1 for structured data, R2 for images, native Cloudflare Image Resizing to serve thumbnails and responsive variants. Transactional mail via Resend for event sign-ups. Careful technical SEO: sitemap, schema.org, clean URLs, IT/EN hreflang.
Online in three months, on budget. Today the three teams work independently, the site loads in under a second, and the event sits at the top of the season's tourist searches — with infrastructure costs that stay minimal all year round.
